Here's a chance to put into action those philanthropic ideas you've always harbored. The Cannes Lions are teaming up with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in pursuit of communications ideas that could help change the world. Up to 10 participants will be awarded $100,000 for the development of their ideas, with successful projects then having the chance to apply for additional funding of up to $1 million to bring their ideas to fruition.
Any individual, team, agency or company is invited to submit a communications idea “simply expressed on just two pages” based on the challenge issued through the foundation’s Grand Challenges Explorations program.
