Campbell Mithun Gets Orange Glo

CHICAGO Orange Glo International has awarded its estimated $50 million account to Campbell Mithun. The assignment includes creating advertising for all four of the company’s brands: Orange Glo, Orange Clean, Kaboom and OxiClean.

The company’s previous efforts have featured pitchman Billy Mays touting the brands’ effectiveness, often in long-form paid programming. The Denver-based company, founded in 1992, first launched its products at the Colorado State Fair. The agency’s first work is expected later this spring. The agency will also handle media-planning and buying. Orange Glo’s previous agency was McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver.

Billing were not disclosed. Orange Glo International spent nearly $50 million over the first 10 months of 2002, according to CMR. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Minneapolis office.
