Bromley Makes Retailer’s Latino Finals

ATLANTA Three shops have advanced to the final round of Circuit City’s review for its first Hispanic agency partner, sources said.

The contenders are: Publicis Groupe’s Bromley Communications in San Antonio; independent The Vidal Partnership and Grey Global Group’s Wing Latino, both in New York, sources said.

Independent Cartel Creativo in San Antonio, Omnicom Group’s del Rivero Messianu DDB in Miami and Interpublic Group’s Siboney USA in New York were eliminated from the competition, according to sources.

The agencies either declined comment or could not be reached.

Billings are estimated at $15 million.

Search consultant Hasan Ramusevic of Hasan + Co. in Raleigh, N.C., referred calls to the client, which declined to comment.

IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago is the consumer electronics retailer’s lead creative agency.

Richmond, Va.-based Circuit City spent nearly $250 million on advertising in 2002 and $110 million in the first three quarters of this year, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

A decision is expected in January.
