MINNEAPOLIS – Bozell/Minneapolis dropped out of contention for the estimated $1-2 million Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota account last week citing a client conflict in the Bozell network. One source said longtime Bozell/Omaha client Mutual of Omaha considered BCBS a conflict. Remaining agencies include Minneapolis based Colle & McVoy; Chuck Ruhr Advertising; Case Foley Sackett; The Edison Group division of Martin/Williams; and incumbent M.R. Bolin. St. Paul, Minn.-based Coleman & Christison is also participating. A decision is expected at the end of July.
