CHICAGO NKH&W is opening an office in Minneapolis, under the guidance of former Colle + McVoy chief executive officer Jim Bergeson.

Bergeson, 52, will be president of the agency’s Twin Cities office, leading a staff of three. Having left Colle + McVoy in 2001, Bergeson has spent the last two years on a self-described sabbatical after a consulting job with C+M parent, MDC Partners.

“We believe we need to grow our base, and there’s a lot of headquarters up there,” said NKH&W chief executive officer Peter Kovac.
