NEW YORK – Benetton will break ranks with controversy and showcase spring/summer 1993 fashions in a Vogue advertorial next month. April Vogue will feature six pages of Benetton apparel advertising. The glossy spread, photographed and produced by the magazine’s creative services department, is done in the style of a designer profile. The copy informs readers that Benetton has changed – that it’s not a ‘teenage sweaterfest’ anymore.
