Arnold Adds Johnson, Burns

BOSTON Greg Johnson has joined Havas’ Arnold as as senior vice president and director of Arnold One, the newly adopted name for the shop’s direct and interactive marketing operations.

Will Burns comes aboard as vice president, group account director for new-business development. He becomes the chief deputy of Phil Reilly, the agency’s executive vice president, director of brand & business development.

Johnson most recently ran Boston consultancy Epoch Strategy, which has now ceased operations. Burns comes from independent shop Boathouse in Needham, Mass., where for a year he was director of account services. He has also served at Mullen, Wieden + Kennedy and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Both Johnson and Burns take new positions at Boston-based Arnold, which is looking to boost its “business-building muscle” for both clients and itself, according to agency president Fran Kelly.
