AMX Corp. Assigns PR to M/C/C

M/C/C has been awarded a public relations assignment from AMX Corp.

The Dallas shop won the account in a review. Billings are undisclosed.

The client, based in Richardson, Texas, previously handled public relations duties internally. M/C/C plans to provide additional marketing communications services to the company in the future.

The assignment comes as AMX rebuilds its management team, a process that began in November with the appointment of former director Robert J. Carroll as chairman, president and CEO.

M/C/C is charged with increasing awareness of AMX in its markets and helping the company strengthen communications with dealers, the agency said. AMX is expected to introduce a number of new products, services and dealer programs in the next few months.

Agency president and founder Mike Crawford attributed the win to his shop’s 16 years of tech marketing experience.

AMX manufactures systems that control multiple devices (lights, audio equipment and security cameras) from one interface. The Ballpark in Arlington (Texas) is among the company’s clients. AMX’s products are sold in both residential and business markets by dealers and distributors around the world.
