CHICAGO – Ameritech here launches its first integrated advertising campaign to promote two ways to make calling card calls – using the Ameritech Calling Card and the Ameritech Complete Card, a no annual fee MasterCard with a calling card feature. The campaign breaks today in Ameritech’s five-state region that includes three 30-second tv spots, three 60-second radio spots, three print ads, airport dioramas and transit advertising. A direct mail campaign to more than 4 million consumers follows in April. The campaign was created by Los Angeles-based Stranger & Associates. Bayer Bess Vanderwarker/Chicago handles the broadcast media buy.
