American Stores Co. last week put its short-lived review on hold following
the announcement that Boise, Idaho-based Albertson’s intends to acquire the company.
American Stores representative Judie Decker confirmed that the search for an agency to handle the supermarket chain’s Lucky, Sav-on and combination store operations has been postponed.
