Aegis Media is set to expand its iProspect arm, launching 10 additional offices across eight Asia-Pacific markets.
The expansion will give Aegis the largest search offering across the region and will cover Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan.
The rollout will be completed within the next three months. Peter Hunter, currently managing director of iProspect Pacific, has been appointed CEO of iProspect’s overall Asia-Pacific operations.
Lee Stephens, digital CEO, Aegis Media Asia Pacific, said the company trained 250 media specialists throughout the region in search-engine management and integration with other media.
“We are also undertaking the largest-ever research project on the growing role of search throughout Asia Pacific,” he said. “More than 20,000 respondents in 10 countries will take part and this research will show how Asian users integrate search with other media to make purchase decisions.”
The results of the research will be available in early April.
