SAN ANTONIO – Admarketing/L.A. is the lone California shop on the contender list for the $15-20 million Builders Square review here, industry insiders say. Other finalists for the home-improvement chain are Bloomfield, Mich.-based incumbent Ross Roy; J. Walter Thompson/Detroit; Fogarty & Klein/Winius Brandon, Houston; and Anderson Advertising/San Antonio. Sources said management changes over the past year at the K Mart subsidiary spurred the review. A final decision is expected in mid-November.
