$30 Mil. Terminix Reviews Creative

LOS ANGELES Pest-control company Terminix is reviewing the creative portion of its $30 million ad business, a company representative has confirmed.

The incumbent, independent Stone Ward in Little Rock, Ark., could not be immediately reached for comment.

The review is in the advanced stage with presentations next week and a decision expected shortly thereafter, according to sources.

The rep declined to identify the agencies involved or disclose the details of the review.

The Memphis, Tenn.-based client spent $30 million on U.S. ads in 2006 and $20 million through July 2007, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

The most recent “If walls could talk” campaign shows faces extruding from house walls and fences. They warn homeowners about pests. The tagline is, “What does your home know that you don’t?”
