SAN FRANCISCO “Together, great things happen,” according to a new Polycom global branding campaign launched today by WPP Group’s Y&R here.

The first phase of the “Human thoughts” print and online campaign aimed at IT professionals tries to turn conventional wisdom about business communication on its head, according to the agency.

Polycom, a player in the global video conferencing market, said it is best known for its starfish-shaped conference phones. The new campaign tag, “Together, great things happen,” refers to connecting people through voice, video, Web and data.
