Seidel O'Neil Advertising here has been awarded Rosemount Estate Winery's estimated $1 million U.S. advertising account, following a review of several undisclosed West Coast shops. There was no incumbent.
"Seidel O'Neil has done some outstanding work," said John W. Gay, president of the client's U.S. operations. "We were particularly impressed with their ability to build a brand."
The shop will handle all U.S. advertising duties for the Australian vintner, working directly with the client's U.S. headquarters in Sonoma, Calif. A print and radio campaign is expected to break in April in markets such as Miami and Cincinnati, where the client has strong distribution.
Founded in 1995, Seidel O'Neil now boasts billings of more than $15 million. --Jane Irene Kelly
