Tinsley Advertising has successfully defended the $6 million account of the Florida Keys and Key West Tourism Development Council.
Nine Florida shops responded to the request for proposals. Finalists included Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown, Orlando, Fla., and Miami's Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which withdrew before oral presentations.
Harold Wheeler, marketing director of the Monroe County Development Council, said the Miami shop's tourism campaign would be extended, but he is expecting a new look.
"Perhaps more aerial shots of the Keys and its make up," Wheeler said. "Tinsley's done an excellent job of showing island lifestyles and promoting fishing and diving, but we want to show more of the islands."
