Timberland split with Publicis’ Fallon last week and plans to work with shops on a project basis, a rep for the Stratham, N.H., footwear and apparel company said. Fallon in New York had held the account for three years but Timberland, sources said, had contacted outside agencies starting late last year. The rep said the move to project work was a “strategic decision.” Fallon will continue to handle some interactive and below-the-line work.
