David Lowe, a senior creative at Lowe Lintas & Partners who has worked on brands such as Perdue, Burger King and McDonald's, is joining TBWA/Chiat/Day's Manhattan office as a creative director overseeing the agency's $100 million Kmart account.

Lowe, who begins March 19, is charged with managing four creative teams assigned to the business. In addition, Lowe, a copywriter, will write ads. He'll arrive just weeks before the agency launches its first work since winning the business last year.

"Kmart is the biggest account we have in the agency and it deserves a full-time creative director," said Dallas Itzen, co-executive creative director. Lowe could not immediately be reached for comment.

At Lowe Lintas, Lowe worked on Perdue, RCA and RCN. Before that, he was assigned to Burger King at the former Ammirati Puris Lintas. Lowe also has worked at BBDO Worldwide, Arnold Worldwide and DDB, where he partnered with John Staffen on McDonald's.
