}Leave it to the British to throw the kind of hip New York party seen only in movies.

Once again, Bartle Bogle Hegarty put on its annual art-directed evening that's quickly become one of the most sought-after party invites in advertising. With a contingent of BBH execs in from the U.K. and Asia, John Hegarty and Nigel Bogle co-hosted the night with British magazine Dazed & Confused. Packed into stylemeister Ian Schra ger's new Hudson hotel were the A-list of professional partiers. (Outside, thanks to Schrager's last-minute decision to close the doors early, some unhappy guests were missing the big bash.)

Among those who stopped by were Academy Award nominee Chloë Sevigny (brother Paul was the night's DJ), Cameron Diaz, supermodel Heidi Klum, Jay McInerney and that seal of party approval, Puff Daddy. Hegarty, in a purple and navy blue checked retro Carnaby Street suit from Paul Smith, was proudly beaming over another celebrity: daughter Laila. As part of the fashion photography team Alex + Laila, the London-based shooter was selected for this year's Photo District News "30 Under Thirty" photographers to watch.
