A 30-second commercial created by Oink Ink Radio captured two trophies at the International Broadcasting Awards in Las Vegas last week. Produced for King World’s syndicated TV program Hollywood Squares, “Growing Up … Gilbert” garnered IBAs in the “broadcast/cable entertainment promotion” and “humorous, 30 seconds” radio categories.

The ad traces the life of guest square Gilbert Gottfried, describing how he has been preparing since childhood for being on the show.

“The hard part,” said Oink Ink president Dan Price, “was finding a child with a Gilbert Gottfried-like voice.
