The still-born Amati business LD&P had last year was cleared because of Ford’s part ownership of Mazda. LD&P chairman Dick Lord said, ‘We have to be asked first, but yes, I think Audi would be a good fit for us given the team we put together to handle Amati.’
A Y&R executive said the agency had received a request from LD&P executives to resolve a possible conflict issue.
