Hunt Adkins in Minneapolis has named Josh Smerick an account planner. Smerick was previously director of insight and brand strategy at GEM Group in Minneapolis, working with clients such as Best Buy, Coca-Cola, Target, Diageo and General Electric. His background also includes stints at FutureBrand in New York and Amsterdam, working with IBM and Bank of America, among others. Hunt Adkins clients' include Fujitsu, Schwan's Home Service, Northern Tool & Equipment and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
