Sullivan, Higdon & Sink in Wichita, Kan., was named agency of record for Teva Marion Partners’ consumer marketing, putting the agency for the first time in the pharmaceuticals category.
Based in Kansas City, Mo., Teva Marion is a two-year-old partnership between Teva Pharmaceuticals in Israel and the Hoechst Marion Rousel unit of Germany’s Hoechst Group. Teva Marion handles North American marketing for Copaxone, a recently approved drug therapy for multiple sclerosis. Billings for the assignment were not disclosed.
“We believe Teva Marion Partners’ decision to partner with SH&S is a vote of confidence in our ability to bring strategic thinking to the table, regardless of the industry,” said Joe Norris, chairman of the $46 million agency.
