BOSTON High-end jewelry retailer Shreve, Crump & Low is set to hire independent ISM here for advertising chores following a review of its account, sources said.

Consulting firm Pile and Co. oversaw the process, which also included finalists Avrett Free Ginsberg in New York, an Interpublic Group shop, and Boston’s Connelly Partners, an independent.

Out of contention following earlier rounds were Agency212 and M&C Saatchi, both in New York, and Wallwork Curry McKenna in Boston.

The client spent $2 million on ads in 2004, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
