Charles Schwab & Co. is parting ways with Partners & Simons to follow Don Easdon, formerly the shop’s freelance creative director, to his new agency in the Bay Area.
Initially, Easdon’s new shop, known as Red, will focus solely on Schwab business, including at least $10-15 million in co-op print advertising and corporate assignments, as well as responsibility for the financial client’s OneSource mutual funds.
Partners & Simons, Boston, which once handled about $30 million in duties for Schwab, is finishing some trade work for the client, but will not get any new projects, according to Len Short, executive vice president at Schwab, San Francisco.
