NEW YORK Interpublic Group on Tuesday confirmed the hiring of former Pharmacia senior vice president and corporate controller Bob Thompson in the role of svp of finance.
The move, which was expected [Adweek, Oct. 20], reunites Thompson with Chris Coughlin, another former Pharmacia executive who is COO/CFO of IPG. “He’s a top-notch talent with broad experience,” Coughlin said about Thompson in a statement. “He will help Interpublic further improve our financial systems and achieve greater financial reliability and accountability.”
