Trinity Communications has been hired by Schools for Children to assist with fundraising and promotional efforts.

The Boston agency will work with the nonprofit group, which operates several alternative private schools, on design, collateral and community relations. Trinity will initially develop an outreach initiative for Dearborn Academy in Arlington, Mass., which serves students, 6-22, with emotional, behavioral and learning disorders.

“We have long supported organizations that fill a void where individuals who need help might otherwise be left unserved,” said Trinity representative Christine Joy.

The agency has also worked with ReadBoston, Boston Partners in Education and Jane Doe.
