As it prepares for a merger and a name change, Sanwa Bank California has tapped Ground Zero to handle the creative portion of its $10-15 million account.

The bank, based in Los Angeles and with 115 branches from San Diego to Sacramento, announced in April that it is merging with Tokai Bank of California.

The move stems from the ongoing consolidation of the two banks in Japan, which are joining with The Tokyo Trust and Banking Co.
