Rubenstein Named Verizon Brand VP

NEW YORK Verizon today named Amy Rubenstein, an ad veteran who most recently was general manager of Young & Rubicam unit Wunderman, as svp, brand, a new position.

Rubenstein will report to Jerri De Vard, svp, brand and marketing communications. In her new role, Rubenstein will “build and extend” the Verizon brand, including handling corporate brand advertising, according to a statement from the company. McGarry Bowen and Draft Worldwide, both New York, handle Verizon’s advertising.

Rubenstein has 18 years’ experience in brand building and direct marketing at AT&T, Citibank, Kraft, Pfizer and others.
