NEW YORK Ramesh Rajan, senior vice president and director of financial operations at Interpublic Group, has replaced Art D’Angelo as chief financial officer of the company’s McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, an IPG representative confirmed.

IPG is now looking to fill Rajan’s position.

Rajan, 48, will report to both IPG chief operating officer Chris Coughlin and WorldGroup chairman and CEO John Dooner, sources said.

D’Angelo joined WorldGroup in January from Cordiant Communications Group, where he was finance director. He will stay with WorldGroup through year’s end to help manage the transition, sources said.
