Publicis' Revenue Grows 4% In Q1

Publicis Groupe reported its first-quarter revenue was up 4 percent to approximately $1.14 billion, compared to the same period a year ago. The Paris-based holding company also said it registered $1.5 billion in net new business during the quarter. Key first quarter U.S. wins for its agencies included Bally Total Fitness, EarthLink, Simmons, EchoStar and JPMorgan Chase.

SBC’s Regulatory Request Denied

WASHINGTON Federal regulators last Thursday rejected SBC’s request to exempt new services including high-speed video from traditional telephone regulations.
