Price/McNabb has named Alon Shoval executive creative director. Shoval, 40, will start in his new role at the Charlotte, N.C., shop next month. Prior to joining the agency, he was creative partner at Spirit Advertising in London. Shoval, an internationally recognized advertising executive, began his career at Ogilvy & Mather in London. His resume includes stops at Young & Rubicam in Paris; Wells, Rich, Greene BDDP in New York; GSD&M in Austin, Texas; and Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco. He also worked at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., before returning to London. Shoval helped create the red-star-on-green advertising for Heineken. He also has developed advertising for clients such as Texaco, MTV, Target, Saturn and Nintendo. According to Tom Eppes, president and CEO of Price/McNabb, Shoval has helped create some of the most successful television and print advertising in recent years. "He is truly one of the top talents in the advertising world," said Eppes.
