ATLANTA Premiere Global Services, a publicly traded business information specialist, has purchased Accucast here, the company said.

The purchase price was not disclosed, but it was a cash transaction with the nine stockholders of Accucast. The Accucast name will be eliminated and the company will become a division of Premiere, a representative said.

Accucast is an online marketing company that owns a software platform that allows marketers to collect customer data in real time and use it to create personalized campaigns. The company was founded in 1997 as Socketware, but changed its name to Accucast last October. Accucast's billings were less than $5 million last year.

The 30 employees of Accucast will remain in their current roles, the company said. The firm will retain its offices in Atlanta.

Premiere will use Accucast's technology and creative services to enhance its marketing automation division. Previously, Premiere subcontracted most of that work to other shops.

Premiere also is based in Atlanta. The company has four business practices: conferencing, document management, marketing automation, and alerts and notifications service. Its clients include Ace Hardware, Brown Forman, Delta Air Lines, Regions Bank and Travelocity.
