PGR Wins Schrager Hotels, Launches in New York

PGR Media is expanding beyond its regional base, adding an upscale hotelier to its roster and establishing a foothold in New York.

The independent buying and planning agency, which is based in Providence, R.I., and claims about $70 million in overall billings, has picked up media chores for Ian Schrager Hotels. It has also brought Lynn Celorio aboard as vice president/managing director of its fledgling New York operations.

For the hotel assignment, PGR is partnering with Baron & Baron, New York, which the client has tapped for creative duties.
