SAN FRANCISCO Former Bath & Body Works CMO Nils Peyron has joined Interpublic Group's McCann Erickson here as executive vice president and global brand director on Microsoft, agency principals said today.

Peyron, 47, started his job Thursday. He succeeds Harry Corsham, former evp and director of client services for Microsoft, said Courtney Buechert, evp and general manager of McCann San Francisco. Corsham is moving to McCann's Melbourne, Australia, office to supervise the account in that region as evp and regional director for global accounts, Asia Pacific.

Peyron will report to Matt Ross, who in February left WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather in New York and became McCann's global chief executive of Microsoft brands and president of McCann Worldgroup, San Francisco.

Ross and Peyron have known each other for a decade. Prior to working for Bath & Body Works in Columbus, Ohio, for the past two years, Peyron was a senior partner and worldwide managing director at Ogilvy in New York.
