Perez Adds Montalbetti as Partner

ATLANTA Perez Advertising has changed its name to reflect its new partner. The recently opened Atlanta shop, now known as Perez, Montalbetti Advertising, focuses on Hispanic marketing.

Founded in March 2002 by Jim Perez, the agency's client roster includes Beazer Homes, Waffle House, Junior Achievement, Florida's Natural and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Prior to opening the agency, Perez worked at Turner and Turner Advertising in Atlanta.

Perez welcomed new partner Patricio Montalbetti, a veteran broadcast executive, because of his background in Hispanic television programming, promotions and advertising, he said. Montalbetti's experience includes working for TNT Latin America, Cartoon Network Latin America, LAPTV and Pan-American Sports Network.

Perez said his goal is to expand the agency by helping companies target Latino consumers. "The Hispanic market's purchasing power reached almost $700 billion this year and continues to grow," he said. "Smart companies are aggressively targeting these consumers."
