After

vacillating last week over its choice of finalists in a creative review for a national broadcast project, Outback Steakhouse said it expects to choose three this week. The Tampa, Fla.-based client said Thursday that it had selected three finalists but expanded the list to five on Friday, citing an “evolving” selection process. The incumbent, independent davidand-goliath in Los Angeles, will be among the finalists, but Outback declined to name other contenders. A decision is due this summer, and the client said it may spend more than $100 million on ads in ’06.
