NEW YORK Olympic Paints and Stains, a unit of PPG Architectural Finishes, has selected Saatchi & Saatchi to handle creative duties on its account, the Publicis Groupe agency said.

Billings were not disclosed, but competitors such as Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams spend $20-30 million in measured media annually, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

Saatchi landed the business after a review that involved four other, undisclosed contenders, the agency said. “From day one, Saatchi understood our challenges and delivered creative, breakthrough ideas,” said Kathy Boytim, national accounts marketing manager at the client in Pittsburgh.
