P&G Shuffles Global Accounts
CHICAGO–As part of its strategy to consolidate ad duties for its global brands at one or two shops, Procter & Gamble last week shifted worldwide creative duties for Vidal Sassoon to Leo Burnett here, which handles the brand in Asia and Latin America. Euro RSCG Tatham in Chicago handled the $30 million account in the U.S. and Europe.
Separately, P&G moved creative duties on the $25 million Crest toothbrush account from Burnett to D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York, which handles Crest toothpaste.
Omnicom Posts Strong Third Quarter
NEW YORK–Omnicom Group last week reported a 30 percent boost in net income to $54 million for the fiscal third quarter, compared to the same period last year.
