The life of an advertising professional can be rough. When Martin/Williams set out to shoot two new spots for Lincoln Financial Group, the account team headed to the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu.
Creative director Tom Kelly swears the location proved the most cost-efficient place to shoot spots about managing retirement money, but he admitted that leaving Minneapolis for the tropics in February wasn’t without its perks. “We avoided a Minnesota winter filming out there,” he said.
The shoot wasn’t all fun and games, though.
