DALLAS McKee Wallwork Henderson will handle advertising for the Mr. Rooter Corporation and Glass Doctor, subsidiaries of The Dwyer Group, the agency said.

Dwyer chose MWH to handle the account after a three-month review, the agency said. The value of the account and the other three finalists in the review were not disclosed. MWH is an independent agency in Albuquerque, N.M.

"McKee Wallwork Henderson is a natural fit with our two concepts," said Steve Truett, vice president of marketing for Mr. Rooter and Glass Doctor. "We are confident our decision in choosing McKee Wallwork Henderson will help us extend our market share and develop better insight into the needs of our customers."

The committee conducting the agency review included corporate staff and representatives from the Glass Doctor and Mr. Rooter advisory councils, the company said.

"We have been interested in working with these franchise concepts for several years now," said Steve McKee, president of MWH. "Our background and experience will help them in continuing their strong pattern of growth."

Along with raising the profiles of the two brands, MWH will provide individual franchisee consultation for all Dwyer Group concepts, the company said.

Horizon Media will coordinate national media placement, the company said.

Founded in 1968, Mr. Rooter is the second-largest full-service plumbing and drain cleaning company in the U.S., according to Entrepreneur magazine. Glass Doctor, established in 1962, is one of the largest full-service glass repair chains in the U.S. with more than 400 locations, the company said.
