A CONNECTICUT Keiler & Co. has named Kate Sehon assistant art director and Meghan Grady graphic designer. Sehon, previously an art director at Amerifit in Bloomfield, will work on Fairchild Aerospace at the Farmington shop. Grady was a graphic designer at Ulsaker Studio in East Hartford. Keiler also has promoted Aaron Dietz from designer to senior designer. He will work on Crane's Paper, Allied Signal and others. DRC Advertising in Danbury has named Bryan Tomek copywriter, Pam Franscella business development specialist and Marie Pettibone business manager. Tomek previously served as a graphic artist for New Milford-based Housatonic Publications. Franscella has 15 years' experience in ad sales, most recently at Schroeder Publications in Verona, Wis. Pettibone spent 14 years in accounting and merchandising at Borders Group. A MASSACHUSETTS CGN Marketing & Creative Services has announced several new additions, including marketing assistant Jenean Smith, production assistant Jody Mello and media assistant Dee Indresano. Also new to the Boston agency are account supervisor Dana Wantman and account executive Jennifer Rossi. Wantman had worked at Greenberg Seronick O'Leary & Partners in Boston, where he managed the LoJack account. Rossi recently earned a master's degree in mass communications at Boston University and formerly worked at defunct Boston shop CC and D Communications. TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group has promoted Caroline Bishop from director of client services and hired Brian Chertok. Both will hold positions as vice president, account group director. Bishop joined the Boston shop in 1996 and has worked on accounts including CMGI and eCredit.com. Chertok previously was director of marketing communications at Avid Technology. The Weber Group has promoted four employees in its Cambridge office. Senior account executive Allison McGiugan is now an account supervisor on General Motors, Compu-DAWN and AT&T WorldNet. Account executive Kim Robinson is a senior account executive on Citrix Systems and Lexmark. Account executive Jennifer Reinhard is a senior account executive on 3Com and Sybase. Account coordinator Joy Pedula is an assistant account executive on GM and Compu-DAWN. Jim Hatch has taken over day-to-day management of production studio Kleiser-Walczak as its chief operating officer. The appointment enables Jim Kleiser and Diana Walczak, co-founders of the North Adams-based company, to focus on the creative side of the business. Cone in Boston has tapped Cheryl Coates as director of its cause branding practice. Coates formerly served as Eastern division sales manager for ConAgra. She also has worked in sales and marketing at A.T. Cross, Scott paper and Procter & Gamble. Eileen McAvoy, formerly director of strategic planning at Gillette Co., Boston, has joined Woolf Associates as a senior account director in the marketing services division. At Boston-based Woolf, she will manage accounts such as Fleet and Bell Atlantic. CPS Direct has filled three key positions in its creative department, naming Paul Zink vice president and associate creative director, Tim McDonough senior art director and Cheri Scotch senior writer. Zink has more than 20 years of direct marketing experience at agencies such as McCann-Erickson, Rapp Collins and FCB-Krupp/Taylor in Los Angeles. McDonough has served as creative director for his own firm, McDonough & Co., for the past 12 years. Scotch most recently worked at Bronnercom in Boston and also has experience at New York shops such as Ogilvy & Mather and Barry Blau & Partners. Stackpole & Partners Advertising in Newburyport has tapped John Caley as art director. Caley previously worked as an art director at Pagano Schenck & Kay in Boston, where he oversaw creative on accounts including Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Webster Bank. Newton-based BBK Communications has appointed Chris Oleson public relations coordinator. Prior to joining BBK, he was a marketing specialist for Liston Concepts in Salt Lake City. Cole & Co. and Paul's Place, a Boston marketing communications firm, has promoted Elizabeth Wellock from post-production producer and client services manager to operations manager. Harpell/Martins & Co.'s public relations division has promoted Alexandra Laurelli from senior account executive to account manager and Caroline Locke from assistant account executive to account executive. Laurelli manages clients in the areas of 3-D animation and software development; Locke works with several hi-tech clients. A RHODE ISLAND Fleming & Roskelly in Newport has selected Eric Wallace as an account executive. Wallace previously served in the marketing department of Eastern Mountain Sports. Brian Sear has returned to Elite Color in Providence as director of sales and marketing. He had served as an account representative at the prepress supplier from 1991 to 1998.
