NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Thielen and Associates in Fresno promoted Samantha Harvey to account coordinator and hired Liz Herrera as a senior graphic designer. Brain Surgery Advertising in San Francisco hired Clark Kent Linderman as director of development. NetGravity, a San Mateo-based online advertising and direct marketing management company, has named Amnon Landan to its board of directors. Landan currently serves as director, president and chief executive officer of Mercury Interactive Corp., a provider of enterprise application testing solutions. OREGON INS Advertising promoted Erin Antonius from account coordinator to account executive. The Portland agency also added Scott Mount as a senior art director. Karakas VanSickle Ouellette Advertising & Public Relations in Portland added Jeff Faulkner to its interactive advertising group as a senior designer. Young & Roehr Group in Portland hired Karen Greene as production manager. Don L. Dickinson was appointed director of advertising management at the Portland State University School of Business Administration in Portland. Portland-based Knoll and Co. Advertising and Public Relations added Bruce Petersen as an art director and Marilyn Musick as a senior copywriter. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Columbia TriStar Television Children's Programming appointed David Palmer as vice president, marketing.
