CONNECTICUT Paul Fortuin has joined New Haven-based Mason & Madison as a copywriter. He had been with RDW Group in Providence, R.I. Fortuin will work on the Scandinavian Airlines, Konica and Anthem Health accounts. Mason & Madison also has tapped Christine Booss as an account coordinator. Mintz & Hoke, Avon, has announced the following staff additions: Karin Mondshein, manager of broadcast production; Terry D'Italia, public relations account supervisor; Robert Wolfson, account executive; and Hilary Gauvin, public relations coordinator. In addition, the agency has promoted Paula Tycienski to account executive from assistant media buyer. The Atlantic Group, a marketing communications firm in Norwalk, has tapped Greg Voornas as vice president and creative director. Voornas has 20 years of experience at agencies such as Bozell Worldwide, Young & Rubicam and Ogilvy & Mather. Tony Coulson has been appointed director of client services. Coulson had been senior vice president of marketing at Alliance Marketing in Fairfield. The Atlantic Group also has named Michael Kelly director of interactive media, Rosemary Peters Costello director of human resources and Christopher Swee account supervisor. David Danielson has joined Group Four Design in Avon as design manager. He had been a partner with Sound Ideas in Stratford. KGA Advertising in Middletown has named Jane Polowitzer production coordinator and Sue Heath stylist. MAINE Gregory Sullivan has joined Talk America in Portland as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He had been president of Efamol Neutraceuticals in Boston. DW Communications Group in Portland has named Michelle Violette art director. She previously held a similar position at GraFix Design in Syracuse, N.Y. Jill Shannon has joined DW as a bookkeeper. He had been controller for Danmark, a telemarketing firm in Topsham. MASSACHUSETTS Dana Satterwhite and Tim Brunelle have joined Arnold Communications in Boston as copywriters. Satterwhite was with Gearon Hoffman in Boston; Brunelle was with Heater Advertising, also in Boston. Both will work on Volkswagen of America. The agency also has hired Pat D'Amico as management supervisor on its Bell Atlantic account. D'Amico had overseen Polaroid's business imaging account as a brand director at Holland Mark Martin Edmund in Boston. In addition, Arnold has appointed Lara Gislason art director, Paisley Schade copy editor, Eileen Forman account planner, Luke Perkins assistant art director, Karin Sachs account coordinator in the consumer insight group and Kateri Laffond human resources assistant. Harpell/Martins & Co., Maynard, has named Chad Leitz senior copywriter, Judy Metz-O'Connell production manager, Randy Orndorf account supervisor, Dana Drissel account coordinator, Jessica Fetterman account executive, Rachel Gitlin and Caroline Locke assistant account executives and Tucker Gibson media coordinator. The shop has promoted Rebecca Garnick to assistant account executive. Philip Johnson Associates in Cambridge has hired Michele Levy as account supervisor. She had been a senior consultant with SRI Consulting in Quincy. Laurie Carlson has joined the Melton Agency in Walpole as production manager. She most recently held a similar position at Duffy & Shanley in Providence, R.I. Sandra McIntosh has been named senior marketing manager of Pamet River Partners in Boston. She had been marketing manager of the NT Solutions unit of Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM. Bishoff Solomon in Boston has promoted Ashley McCown to vice president. She had been group manager of the agency's public affairs, crisis communications and nonprofit division. Stephen Crawford has been hired to fill that position. Seidler Bernstein in Cambridge has tapped Rob Kinslow as creative director, copy. He was formerly a freelance writer, specializing in marketing materials and magazine articles on medical and health topics. Michelle Boudreau has joined as account manager. She had been a product manager at Osmonics in Westborough. Allen & Gerritsen in Watertown has promoted Tim Cohane to marketing manager. He was hired 18 months ago as a marketing associate. In addition, the agency has tapped Rhonda Van Buskirk as studio manager and Christopher Farnham as an interactive engineer. Van Buskirk previously held various studio positions at Holland Mark Martin Edmund in Boston, and Farnham served as a software engineer and technical writer at Interactive Factory, also in Boston. John Barbuto has been named director of business development at Logos to Go, a promotional products company in Hingham. Barbuto was previously employed by Boston Gas Co. as general manager of the firm's Braintree operations. Trinity Communications in Boston has appointed creative director Jessica Tucceri to its board of directors.
