McCann-Erickson, New York, has promoted Nina DiSesa to chairman, chief creative officer from executive vice president, executive creative director and Eric Keshin to executive vice president, chief operating officer from executive vice president, director of account services. Both report to Donald Dillon, president of McCann-Erickson North America. The promotions are intended to reduce Dillon’s operational responsibilities in New York.
Seven staff members were promoted to vice president at Bates USA in New York: Kurt Carstensen, media supervisor; Bridget Crudo, associate research director; Don Hue, assistant controller; Rob Loser, payroll manager; Mike Rutstein, account supervisor; Dianna Sadowski, assistant controller; and Kathleen Valente, account supervisor.
Cliff Freeman and Partners, New York, added four creative staffers to its team: Dan Morales joins the agency from Black Rocket; Steve Doppelt arrives from Lowe & Partners/SMS; Jason Gabariau comes to the firm from Berlin Cameron & Partners; and Rob Carducci joins the agency from DeVito/Verdi.
