NEW YORK Miramax Films said it is returning its media buying duties to independent Palisades Media Group, which handled the assignment from 1996 until April 2003. The client, a Walt Disney unit, spends an estimated $250 million on ads.
For the past year, the work has been with Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Media. Miramax in a statement said that relationship has “ended amicably by mutual consent.”
“As a midsize company that offers a full range of services … Palisades is a perfect fit for Miramax’s current needs,” said Rick Sands, COO of Miramax, in a statement.
