NEW YORK -- Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG has elevated four executives to partner, bringing the total number of partners at the New York-based agency to 29.The new partners include Israel Garber, a 10-year veteran of MVBMS; Cindy Kenety, group account director on the Nestle Prepared Foods Division account; Dan McLoughlin, who oversees the WorldCom account; and Sidney Rothberg, a broadcast producer."All of them have made significant contributions to the agency's success over the last several years, and are extremely deserving of this recognition," Ron Berger, CEO of MVBMS, said at the agency's 15th anniversary celebration Monday, where he announced the appointments.Garber, 35, a copywriter and creative director, has worked on Oppenheimer Funds and GlaxoSmithKline, among others. In 1993, he helped launch MCI's 1-800-COLLECT brand. Kenety, 47, has worked with Nestle since she joined the agency in 1998 as account director on the Lean Cuisine brand. McLoughlin, 40, joined the agency in 1996 as global account director on the Philips account. Rothberg, 47, who began as a freelance broadcast producer at the agency in 1992 and joined the staff in 1997, has handled such accounts as Subway, Schering-Plough, Nestle and Philips.
