Brent Willis, chief marketing officer of Kmart Corp., has resigned for personal reasons effective May 7 after just four months with the discount retailer.
Willis has managed all aspects of marketing, communications, advertising and brand development, and was a key engineer of the massive ad campaign to revive Kmart’s “Blue Light Special” discounts. Before joining Kmart, he oversaw the Coca-Cola Co.’s revival in Venezuela as divisional president in Latin America.
