NEW YORK Mad Dogs & Englishmen broke a national campaign for digital cable programmer In Demand that touts its sports programming, the agency said.

The TV, print, radio and online effort focuses on the various college and professional sports packages the service offers such as NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice, ESPN Gameplan, ESPN Full Court, Nascar in Car, MLB Extra Innings and MLS Shootout.

The agency’s San Francisco office created the theme of “Black Wednesday,” referring to July 14, when no games in any sports are scheduled, and core fans are bereft of sports shows.
