Cellars introduces a new positioning and advertising tagline next month, casting its bubbly as “The official champagne of the millennium celebration.”
TV spots bearing the new theme will break nationally Nov. 30 on broadcast and cable networks, including slots during National Football League broadcasts.
Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis is the agency of record for Korbel champagne.
The 30-second spots continue the humorous approach used for the brand in previous campaigns. The first spot, “Carriage,” depicts a romantic couple in a horse-drawn carriage.
